After a full 25 years of teaching at LPK, our wonderful “Miss Gail” Reinking retired in August due to a cancer diagnosis. Anyone who knows Gail can tell you how vibrant, enthusiastic, and loving she is. Gail has nurtured, guided, and loved hundreds upon hundreds of children in our community, and we’re going to miss her presence at LPK very much.
Still, we are the fortunate recipients of the program and community she carried, and we know that she has set us up well to move into the future. To that end, we are delighted to watch “Miss Tracey” Heller as she grows into the role of LPK Director and Lead Teacher. Tracey previously served as LPK’s Assistant Teacher for four years, as a teacher at another preschool before that, and prior to that Tracey was an LPK parent and Executive Board member.
We are also thrilled to welcome “Miss Ashley” Trodden and “Miss Kirsten” Gick as our new Assistant Teachers. Both were previously LPK parents and both have prior teaching experience. You can read more about all three of our wonderful teachers here.
The LPK community wishes Gail well as she undertakes her fight against cancer and we thank her for all she gave to us. We also look forward to wonderful years ahead with our bright, new teaching staff. Thank you, Miss Gail! And welcome, Miss Ashley and Miss Kirsten!
