Lisbon Pre-K would like to extend another HUGE thank you to Porter Construction, Hunt Valley Contractors and Sparks at Play. We are so thankful for their donations of several pieces of brand new playground equipment and their time! We would also like to thank the Spampinato family, the Porter family and the Scotting family for all their help with the playground installation.
When a favorite playground staple, the spring rocker, met its end, these companies and families stepped up and helped renew and refresh our outdoor play space! Our students could not be more excited to express themselves musically and fill the air with their songs on our new instrument! Our little ones line up to take a turn on the two new saddle spinners! Everyone could not wait to give them a whirl!
We are very excited to have such fantastic new pieces that will help our students develop mentally and physically! The saddle spinners will help students learn to balance, and develop core and lower body strength. Our new chimes not only have our students working on hand-eye coordination and motor planning, but provide plenty of sensory development and an opportunity for strategic thinking.
Thank you again for adding a little music to our ears and helping make fun outdoors go round and round!
